Paper Trufflez Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Paper Trufflez Team Blog Hop. The participants in this hop will be highlighting new products from the 2018 Holiday Expressions catalog. If you have come from Amy Pitts's blog, you are on the right path.

The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here. It’s very easy to hop along with us. Just click on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one.

I love dabbling in mixed media. When Close To My Heart came out with Opaque Matte Texture Paste, I just had to play with it.

I created a brick stencil using Cricut Artbooking Digital Collection and Stencil Sheets

The leaves are made with the texture paste by spreading the texture paste on cardstock, let it dry for about 30 min., then stamped the oak leaves into the texture paste.  The oak leaf is from the stamp set Grateful Heart Cardmaking.  I painted the leaves with Goldrush, Pomegranate, and Fern using Close To My Hearts Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads

To give the card a little sparkle, I embossed the words with Ranger Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder on vellum paper.  The sentiment came from Close To My Heart October Stamp of the Month, Thanks & Giving.

Now “hop” on over to Brandi Wolfe's blog to see her fabulous artwork. Be sure to visit all the Consultants in the hop to get some fun creative ideas. If you get lost along the way, here is a list of participants. Thanks for stopping by!

I also entered this card in the Three Amigos October Challenge.

  4. I love the colorful leaves against the white tone on tone background! I’m so glad you tried that technique. The gold tinsel embossing on the vellum is a great touch!

  5. HOLY MOLY is that awesome!!! I love how you used the texture paste for the background and how you stamped it with the leaf stamp and colored it with the CTMH ink pads! So clever and soooo cool!
